Russian embassy launches ‘Pashto Advance Applied Grammar’ to boost academic linkages
ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):The Embassy of Russia on Tuesday hosted the launch of a textbook ‘Pashto Advance Applied Grammar’, aimed at strengthening academic linkage between Russian and Pakistani linguists.
The event was attended by Ambassador Albert P. Khorev, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb, and representatives of Pakistan’s academic community and media.
The textbook has been authored by Hafeez Ur Rehman Dauran, a professor at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), and published with the support of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan.
The new publication aims to address the shortage of modern Pashto grammar teaching materials and encourage greater interest in studying the language at Russian universities.
The copies of the textbook will be provided to Russian universities where Pashto is taught.
