ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP):Parents have been urged to ensure that every child under five years of age receives two drops of the polio vaccine during the upcoming nationwide campaign scheduled for November 2 to 8.
The Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative emphasized that the dedication of frontline workers and community trust remained key strengths in the fight against polio.
It urged parents and caregivers to cooperate with vaccination teams and ensure that their children receive the vaccine during every campaign to protect them against the crippling disease.
The initiative reiterated that every child under five must receive two drops of the polio vaccine during each campaign to help safeguard children’s health and achieve a polio-free Pakistan.
