ATTOCK, Oct 28 (APP):The local administration has sealed a private school in Mohallah Saghirabad for operating without mandatory health and building safety certificates, officials said on Wednesday.
The action was taken by Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Ali Raza and Deputy District Education Officer Saeed Ashraf during an inspection of the institution.
The officials found that the school management had neither a health certificate nor a building safety certificate, raising concerns about compliance with the requirements intended to safeguard students’ health and ensure the safety of the premises.
The administration is inspecting educational institutions across Jand tehsil to check sanitation, health standards, structural safety and compliance with other prescribed regulations.
The inspections are part of efforts to enforce safety requirements at schools and ensure that institutions provide a secure environment for children.
The administration has urged school managements to fulfil all mandatory legal requirements, warning that compliance with safety standards is essential to protect students.
